Porcellio Scaber 'White Edge'
Porcellio Scaber, also known as the rough backed isopod due to the coarse, bumpy texture of their carapace, is an extremely hardy species. The perfect choice for beginners, these isopods are native to Europe and are quick to breed with moderately sized broods. What we like to call the ‘White Edge Morph’ is a cross between Porcellio Scaber ‘dalmatian’ and Porcellio Scaber ‘wild type’. They have a similar appearance to the ‘Ghost’ morph, but with a solid grey body. Adult length:~1.7 cm, Humidity preferences: 50-80%, Temperature preferences: 65-80 degrees, Soil depth: ~3in.
